In-Season Analysis

After you have drafted your fantasy football team for the season, your job as a team owner is just beginning. Championships are not won at the draft – although they can be lost there. Success in fantasy football is determined by a solid roster of players in concert with effective in-season management skills.

Listed below are page links for an analysis of each week of the NFL regular season. You will want to check out each page both prior to the games for that week for our rankings and again after the week’s games have been played for a review of fantasy top performers, key injuries sustained, along with free agent recommendations and one-week wonder warnings.

Word of Caution: A good rule of thumb in fantasy football is to always start the best players on your roster – no matter the match-up. However, there are times when you will need to make a decision between two or more players when evaluating a bye-week filler or if you have two or more players of similar overall fantasy production potential. You will not want to start a less talented player, e.g. Rashad Jennings over David Johnson, just because of a favorable match-up. Our rankings should help you make good decisions week to week.
